A boy's wish to ordain, and the kindness that answered it

30 August 2026, at Wat Kiew Nor, Luang Prabang. His parents had separated and he was living with his father. One day he told his father, with a sincere heart, that he wished to shave his head, ordain as a novice and live in the yellow robes. His wish came true. He found a supporter, a mother by good kamma, who took him under her care.

May the merit of this good deed go to Mae Kaew Rungrawan Stauffer. May she be in good health, may her work prosper, and may she be able to support the boy for a long time. He has nothing to give in return, except to enter the ordination hall, chant, and dedicate the merit to her, always.
